The crew has been absolutely crushing it this year! Dane Berke, Derek Stevens, Knight Ide, Sasha Yak Attack and some backup help from Tim Hasselman and Lilias Ide.
Recently Dane, Derek, Sasha and Knight were up at Highland Mountain Bike Park doing some filming with DH Productions for the new "Chain Reaction" series. The boys were going off but had some bad weather that messed things up a bunch. Big props to our sponsor Highland, DH Productions and Dave Smutok for arranging things to make it happen. Here's a few shots of them going off.
Dane in Red Shirt on his new signature frame..the "Didge" and Derek Stevens in White shirt trying a huge tailwhip off the step up.
Dane got to pop the cherry of Dave Smutok's new jumpline the week before alongside Dave of course. 3 real big stunts and Dane and his signature Didge were pulling them offf perfectly. he even tricked the bridge over the 20 footer with his signature suicide no-hander. here's some shots of Dane and Dave going offf the nutS.
Dane no hander!
The crew has been busy elsewhere as well with Sasha, and Dane up building at Highland and Sasha has also been putting in new stuff near home and has entered college this fall and has been tearing apart the campus and of course, the Rye Airfield. Yak Attack will be teaching some clinics in the upcoming year and Dane too of course. Sasha is all about the flow whether it;s on a 20 inch, a big pair of twin tip skis or of course his beloved DNA. Sasha will continue to inspire folks to ride and be smooth as well as his attitude is infectious. Keep styling bro!

You can get a chance to ride with Dane at Plattekill on October 13-14th as we'll all be up there ripping uit up. Dane has recovered from a bad crash at Diablo earlier in the year that I witnessed firsthand as he was jumping the funky third big table there that took down several riders this season. He has fully recovered now and has been putting his new creation, The Didge to the test. Dave Smutok was heard saying that he would "never hit the big jump on a hardtail" that both Dane and Derek Stevens nailed on their Sinister's.
Dane is the most well rounded rider on the team. Ripping at X-C, jumps, street, DH, Freeride and hell the guy will even road ride all the while having the best attitude as well. A bike mechanic by trade, Dane defines the word..Rider.

All the team has been shooting video, featured in mags, built trails and jumps and have inspired new people to get into the sport....in short...they've done their job and made us and our sponsors very proud.
The pride of the Northeast Kingdom, Knight Ide has been hard at work and his house will be the site up some filming for the upcoming "Kranked" series. Kyle Ebbet has been hard at work shaping jumps at Knight's house to prepare for the big leagues coming to town. Knight was recently filming with DH productions as well as doing some filming for an upcoming VT DVD. He runs shuttles on Burke and pushing the local crew every time he rides.
He is a big mountain master who is also very comfortable on the jumps, trails and pumptrack not to mention Skis, or a moto while working hard as a stonemason and father of a ....gasp...14 year old boy! ya boy! Here's a couple of Knight ripping.
And Derek has had an amazing year as well despite some injuries he received while flying somewhere in the Stratosphere! Full page ad in N"east mag for Bern Helmets. Featured rider at the Bratt Jam, Lynn Woods Jam, Pedros(briefly) and busy helping with valuable input to us on bikes, design and fashion. He also designed a kick ass pumptrack for Burke that is out of this world. Lok for more big stuff out of D-Rawk. The kid oozes talent whether it;s at snowboarding, martial arts(yeah he can kick your ass)music, art, building trades or skateboarding all while remaining very humble. here's a couple of D-rawk ripping.
Tim Hasselman has fought to get it together and prove to everyone that he is here to stay. Tim has been the park manager up at Whaleback and has been busy filming all over the Northeast all the way to Germany where he visited with his beautiful new...Fiancee....congrats Tim. He is pushing hard to get a full time spot on the factory squad and has been ripping on Sinister's for a few years now. here he is in action.
the crew makes us all proud here and is valuable in feedback, design, exposure, role models and just all around great people. you guys continue to inspire me and many other every time you shred. Here's to you
skye and bruce!
